May 25th, 2022 by · Leave a Comment

On the software side of the communications business, Amdocs has made an inorganic move. The software and services provider has agreed to acquire MYCOM OSI, a UK-based provider of SaaS-based cloud network and service assurance solutions.

Amdocs plans to incorporate MYCOM OSI’s technology and the team behind it into the portfolio it offers service providers. The solutions leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect and predict anomalies in network infrastructure, enabling automated remediation and related capabilities.

The purchase will cost Amdocs $188M in cash and is expected to close in Q4 of fiscal 2022, which means by the end of September.
