Just as Memorial Day weekend is about to start, the Verizon strike appears to be over. Verizon and its unions have apparently reached a tentative deal this afternoon after 13 days of talking at the Department of Labor.
Details of who won what concessions are not yet available, and of course the unions themselves will have to vote on whatever it is their representatives signed off on. Regardless of those details however, it’ll be good to have everything back to normal. Both sides have taken damage from this one.
Everyone go have a great holiday weekend, if you haven’t left already that is.
