Longhaul Network Maps

On this page and its children, I collect links to intercity network maps from around the world.  They may be owned or leased, they may be wavelengths, fiber, or conduit, or most likely they are a combination of each.  Yes, I care which is which but for the purposes of this list I collect them all.  The organization is by geographical region, with the regions chosen for convenience according to the density of metro fiber maps available in each.  For instance, the US has both national and regional pages of its own because there are many providers and maps to list.  On the other hand, there is a single page for the Asia/Australia/Pacific region.  The regions chosen will change as the available map resources chage.  Not all regions are covered for one of two very simple reasons:  a) I haven’t gotten that far yet (e.g. Africa), or b) I haven’t found any fiber maps (e.g. Antarctica).  If you would like to jump-start my efforts in a region, just send me stuff I don’t already have.
