Four interesting items of regional interest:
eX² Technology has won a key middle mile deal out in Arizona. They have executed a dark fiber IRU agreement with an unnamed ILEC on their Navajo County footprint. It’s a 20 year deal that leverages the full 106-mile middle mile infrastructure, which was originally built with the help of ARPA and other funding sources.
Sertex has two new expansion projects to work on in western Massachusetts via two new Master Service Agreements with utility operators. They are partnering with Westfield Gas & Electric to install 1000+ underground service drops for Whip City Fiber’s existing distribution fiber network. Meanwhile They will also be supporting Chicopee Electric Light’s Crossroads Fiber in the town of Chicopee, installing underground conduit and providing ongoing services.
1547 Critical Systems Realty and Harrison Street have achieved a key milestone in Orangeburg NY. The facility has now reached full occupancy, and additional expansion opportunities are underway. They are currently bringing in another 12MW from the utility, and there is room for another 230,000 square foot facility on the property.
And over in the UK, Boldyn will be busy down in the London Underground alongside EE and and Transport for London. They will be delivering 4G mobile network infrastructure in support of the Emergency Services Network, with coverage across 130 Tube, Docklands Light Railway and London Overground station.
