Apax to Buy Expereo

May 25th, 2018 by · 1 Comment

Expereo will soon have new private equity ownership.  The Dutch managed network services provider is being bought by Apax Partners for an undisclosed purchase price.

Expereo serves some 11,500 enterprise and government sites around the world with internet access, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and related amanged services.  Last year they apparently generated €92M in revenue and did a little M&A of their own with the buyout of the French provider Border 6, whose technology underlies the company’s cloud acceleration product line.

Apax will be taking over from Carlyle, which first took an ownership stake in the company back in 2014.
