AMS-IX Taps PacketFabric’s Network

June 28th, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

The internet exchange specialist AMS-IX has expanded its reach with some help from PacketFabric. The two have signed a memorandum of understanding to interconnect their infrastructure in the US.

AMS-IX operates internet exchanges in New York, Chicago, and California’s Bay Area in addition to its flagship exchange over in Amsterdam. AMS-IX will be leveraging PacketFabric’s 130+ locations to reach customers nationwide without having to build out more of its own infrastructure.

PacketFabric only emerged from stealth this past January, but has been quickly making inroads throughout the interconnection and cloud connectivity spaces.
