Three more job postings have popped up on the Telecom Ramblings Jobs Board, two from Rochester-based metro fiber builder Fibertech and another from Northeastern regional operator Sidera Networks. The overall economy sure isn’t going that well right now, but this little corner over here there is certainly a steady stream of hiring going on. Fibertech changed private equity hands over the winter, but has been rather quiet since despite early indications there might be additional M&A. In the Spring they announced a substantial buildout on my turf in southern New Jersey.
Fibertech is in the market for account managers, with a listing each for a Carrier Account Manager and an Enterprise Account Manager. The Enterprise Account Manager will be selling into large and medium accounts and the Fortune 1000 market, while the Carrier Account Manager will obviously be focusing on carriers and the wholesale business.
Sidera is looking for a variety of sales personnel across each of their major metro markets, adding to two other listings posted recently more on the engineering side of things.
Other job listings still on the books right now include one each from Level 3, OCG, and AboveNet.
