Regional Roundup: Duos, ValorC3, Race, Boldyn

Four expansion products of regional interest to catch up with:

Duos Edge AI has won a significant colo deal in Columbus, Georgia. They have entered into a 5-year, 10MW agreement with an investment-grade hyperscaler, a deal valued at $111M in contracted revenue. They already had a deal for 10MW at the campus that should ‘begin generating revenue’ next month, and this will double that. Duos Edge AI says it has raised $50M to help support the expansion.

ValorC3 Data Centers has added more to its service portfolio out in the mountain west. They have officially launched Backup-as-a-Service to their capabilities, offering to protect SaaS data across a range of products. They are working with Veeam, running the service on Veeam Data Cloud.

Race Communications has lined up a new market out in California. They have kicked off a new project in the city of Lodi, building out last mile fiber with the goal of providing up to 10Gbps symmetrical across the area. Lodi is a town of 66K people that sits in the state’s Central Valley, about an hour south of Sacramento and a bit north of Stockton and Modesto. Race is targeting 17K homes and businesses in Lodi.

And Boldyn Networks has won an expanded deal in the education vertical down in the deep south. Alabama’s Huntingdon College will be leveraging Boldyn’s managed network and IT services across administrative and academic areas. Boldyn already powers the company’s residential network services deploymnet, something that was set up last year for both students and staff.
