A set of interesting global investments and customer wins:
EXA Infrastructure has extended its network into a new corner of Europe. They have built out infrastructure into Helsinki, Finland. The deal follows a move earlier this year deeper into Scandinavia where they tapped Bulk Infrastructure’s Havfrue transatlantic cable, boosting its presence in Norway and Denmark.
Arelion has expanded its footprint in southern France. They have deployed a new point of presence in Marseille, specifically in Digital Realty’s MRS4 data center. The new PoP adds diversity to the company’s existing presence at MRS1 in the key port, offering direct connectivity onto 14 subsea cables that land in the city.
HGC Global Communications is investing in Data Center Interconnect infrastructure. They have launched DCI clusters across Southeast Asia, looking to boost the company’s enterprise solutions portfolio. That means not just mega hubs like Hong Kong and Singapore, but also emerging destinations in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
And Orange Business has picked up a global hybrid cloud customer. Longtime customer TMF Group will be using Orange Business’s infrastructure to centralize its data management and unify its cloud solutions. The deal leverages an Azure Stack HCI deployment with nodes in Brazil, Costa Rica, France, and Singapore. TMF Group’s global footprint spans 125 offices worldwide with a headcount of some 11,000.
