Due to this material reuse, the circular supply chain, in contrast to the conventional linear supply chain model, moves continuously rather than coming to an end at the end consumer.

Circular supply chain models may come in many different forms yet, they all share the same driving philosophy—reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact.
