A data center buildout, a new DCI service, a certification, and a testing collaboration:
AirTrunk has already broken ground on phase 2 of its TOK2 data center in West Tokyo, Japan. When complete, the expansion will add some 50MW of potential capacity to the site, which they just started working on three months ago. Combined with their East Tokyo infrastructure, it will give them 410MW of total capacity in the Tokyo metro area. Last month AirTrunk kicked off a 150+MW hyperscale location in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, so they’ve got a lot going on.
