Talking Network Security at TEX

Last week I had the privilege of moderating a CEO Roundtable “If it can be hacked… Network Security & the new Reality” at the Telecom Exchange in Hoboken NJ.  The format was novel, with the conversation itself under Chatham House Rules but recorded visually by a whiteboard artist from Ink Factory and an overall task of producing a list of action items for the industry to move forward on in the short term.  Here is the image of that whiteboard that resulted:

As you can see, we covered quite a bit of ground.  If you’ve been to any conference, you know it’s easy to attend (or participate in) a fascinating panel discussion only to remember very little of the details a few hours later.  Having a visual record like this is a pretty interesting way of re-accessing those memories, and for those who couldn’t be there it’s also possibly a good way to see the highlight reel of what you might have missed.

There were three other roundtables and three other fascinating whiteboards produced:

Thank you to JSA for putting so much thought into this event, and to the panelists for coming to the table with so many great perspectives and ideas!

  • Thank you Rob! It was an honor to have you moderate. And we will be releasing the manifestos from each of these Roundtables after the 4th, so more coming!

Thanks for all you do for our industry Rob.
