Three new job listings this past week on the Ramblings Jobs board from the northeast, and yes it’s from the consolidator of the week.
Lightower Fiber Networks is looking for a Principal Network Architect, Optical Architect, and a Data Engineer. The day before these job listings were posted, Lightower announced a planned merger with its regional rival Fibertech. But both companies have been expanding steadily, and their combination isn’t one based on synergies so hopefully the hiring will continue unabated.
Meanwhile, Logix Communications still has four positions open. They are looking for Field Services Technician | Manager Field Service, a Dedicated Fiber Sales Specialist, an Outside Plant (OSP) Designer and a Director of Web Strategy and Digital Marketing. Logix has been very busy this past year bringing buildings on-net in all its markets.
In the New York Metro Area, Axiom Fiber Networks is looking for a Senior Sales Executive. Axiom just came out of stealth this past winter with a greenfield metro fiber network starting with the usual suspects in Manhattan.
And down in Virginia, Mid-Atlantic Broadband is looking for a Cloud Solutions Sales Manager. MBC is looking to use its regional fiber network to help hook up enterprises and other organizations in its often overlooked territory to the major cloud providers.
