This week the Ramblings’ Jobs Board hit another new all time high, passing the twenty mark with three new jobs from WCI and another new one from Lightower.
Over in the Pacific Northwest, WCI has posted three new positions. The Seattle-based service provider is looking for a Telecom Data Network Engineer, a Telecom Client Relations Manager, and a Senior Complex Provisioner to help serve enterprise demand.
Meanwhile, Lightower has added another job listing in the New York metro area. They are looking to hire an Equipment Engineer responsible for planning and engineering the installation of network and telecommunications equipment at Lightower facilities, Carrier Hotels, and ILEC Central Offices. Lightower is hiring throughout its network footprint in support of their rapid growth, with positions available in what seem to be all of their major office locations. A number of new positions have been posted for the greater Baltimore area, not surprising after their recent announcement of a 270 route mile expansion in greater Baltimore. Here is a table off all their current listings:
And we’ve got three other listings still on the books. FirstLight Fiber is looking for both a Network Engineer and a NOC Repair Technician in downtown Albany. After integrating the assets FirstLight operates deep fiber across a wide swath of upstate New York and northern New England. In the Mid-Atlantic, Lumos Networks is looking for a Senior NOC Engineer, who would help them support and operate all the new network they’ve been putting in place in Virginia and Pennsylvania lately. And, Jaymie Scotto & Associates is looking for an Account Manager who would be based out of their own home or office.
