Glad to see there’s some hiring going on out there, though the telecom job market isn’t an easy one currently. This week we have a new listing from Lumos Networks.
Lumos Networks is looking for a Senior Manager of Capital to help the financial team facilitate the company’s capital spending. This position will be in Waynesboro, VA within the Shenandoah Valley where the company has its headquarters. Lumos was once the fiber arm of nTelos, becoming an independent fiber operator in its own right in the Fall of 2011. Most of their footprint is focused on West Virginia, but they have fiber into the surrounding states and plans for further expansion as well.
Meanwhile, Zayo is still looking for Sales Directors for three Vertical Overlays to join its finance/accounting team. The three verticals in question are Media and Cable/Satellite, Internet Content and Software, and CLEC/Voice Service Provider. And in the Carolinas, DukeNet is still looking for a Director of Enterprise Sales, or perhaps a Managing Director of Enterprise Sales, responsible for building an organization focused on the mid-market and large enterprise segments.
