We have a new job listing on the Ramblings’ Jobs board this week from none other than Zayo, and four others still active as well.
Zayo is in the market for a Director of Network Expense at its Louisville, CO headquarters. The position reports to the business unit CFO and owns the accounting and forecasting for a large majority of the company's network expenses. Given that the company has more than doubled its size since this time last year and added an enterprise division via AboveNet to boot, it'll certainly be a skill set they'll need a lot more of going forward.
XO is still looking for Enterprise Account Managers and Account Managers in both Columbus, Ohio and Southfield, Michigan. XO has been flying mostly under the radar for the past year, except for that 100G upgrade news last quarter.
Up in the Pacific Northwest, Noel Communications is seeking both a Network Engineer and a Network Coordinator II in either Yakima or Seattle, looking to beef up both their design and provisioning capabilities. I haven’t followed Noel that much, but they’ve been adding regional network reach over the past year or two.
And down in Atlanta, Birch Communications is looking for a Product Manager to help both manage existing products and services and create and integrate new ones. Birch has been quietly but actively buying assets while transforming its product portfolio.
