Two more job openings were posted to the Telecom Ramblings Jobs Board this week. I have plans to change the jobs board over from the current limited, hosted system to something a bit more extensive, hopefully for next month. This week’s job postings are from Zayo Group (news, filings) and sidera, both of whom seem to be hiring steadily of late.
Zayo’s flagship division, Zayo Bandwidth, is looking for a Layer 2 Architect to help with the design and growth of the company’s production Ethernet network. Before its acquisition by Zayo, 360networks had been quite aggressively pushing a new regional intercity Ethernet business that fits quite nicely into Zayo’s now transcontinental footprint.
Sidera is looking for a Business Manager – Colocation in New York to help out managing the colocation assets they have alongside that fiber on the northeast corridor plus Chicago. Also still on the jobs board right now is Sidera’s posting for a Business Sales Account Manager, Carrier Wholesale. With all the M&A-related layoffs hitting the sector this season, we can use all the job listings we can get.
