Two data center development partnership projects and one new longhaul fiber route.
365 Data centers has lined up a new strategic partnership with Aphorio Carter, which is the data center infrastructure division of Carter Funds. The two will be looking to develop 200MW of AI-ready data center capacity. They have two projects in the works in Aurora, Colorado and Simpsonville, Kentucky, and are evaluating as many as six others, including possibilities in Trumbull, Connecticut; Louisville, Kentucky; Harrisonburg, Virginia; and Columbus, Ohio. The projects are expected to come online over the next 9 to 24 months.
Over in the UK, Galaxy Data Centers is teaming up with the real estate investor Castleforge for some more capacity. The two will be building out a 15MW data center at Galaxy’s Redhill campus at the Foxboro Business park outside of London. The two had already put £100M into the campus, and this will add another £200M to the mix. Plans call for four data halls and support for a local waste heat recovery initiative. Full planning consent has been granted for the project.
And RETN has put together a new bit of network infrastructure in Eastern Europe. The backbone operator has launched a route between the Balkans and Ukraine, crossing Romania and Moldova. Markets touched along the way include Odessa, Drobeta, Bucharest, Iasi and Chisinau, connecting back to RETN’s existing Balkan reach in Budapest, Timisoara, and Sofia.
