Trane to Buy LiquidStack, Submer Deals For Radian Arc

February 11th, 2026 by · Leave a Comment

There have been two interesting inorganic moves in the data center technology space worth checking out this week. With all the change driven by the demands of AI, the industry is shifting faster than it ever has.

Trane Technologies has entered into an agreement with LiquidStack. LiquidStack specializes in liquid cooling, which is definitely on the rise and will fit in with Trane’s broader cooling technology portfolio. LiquidStack has teams in both Texas and Hong Kong, and will operate from within of Trane’s Commercial HVAC business, with CEO Joe Capes still at the helm. Trane already had a minority investment in LiquidStack since 2023. If all goes well, the deal should close in the next few months.

Meanwhile, Submer has announced a deal for Radian Arc. Radian Arc has a carrier-embedded GPU edge computing platform with some 70+ telecom and edge compute customers supporting cloud gaming and AI workloads. Submer is looking to integrate those capabilities into its InferX cloud infrastructure platform. Radian Arc will gain access to Submer’s established partner ecosystem, enabling an acceleration of its sovereign AI infrastructure growth.

Transactions like these seem likely to get more frequent as everyone’s ecosystem shakes down into a new structure over the next several years.
