Five infrastructure projects to catch up with:

CleanArc Data Centers has broken ground on a major new data center campus in Caroline County, Virginia. That’s along the I-95 corridor between Washington DC and Richmond. The plans for CleanArc’s VA1 call for 900MW of grid capacity, with the first third of that coming online in Q1/2027.

Vantage Data Centers has completed raising some $1.6B for its efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. The investment was led by affiliates of GIC and ADIA, and some of it went toward the acquisition of Yondr Group’s 300MW campus in Johor, Malaysia. After that, there will be plenty left over to fund additional growth the region.

Nokia has announced the completion of a network upgrade project in India. They have deployed gear across RailTel’s national DWDM footprint including their 7750SR, Broadband Network Gateway, and CG-NAT functionality. Railtel operates 64,000 route kilometers of fiber along the railway in the country as well as two data centers.

HGC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Johor Capital Group as part of the East-West Gateway Project. The two will be working together on infrastructure in Malaysia. The arrangement covers a nextgen hub, subsea landing stations, terrestrial fiber, DCI, and internet exchanges.

Orange Business is moving its IT infrastructure over to Bleu. Bleu, which is owned by Capgemini and Orange, will provide Microsoft-based services in a trusted cloud environment. Orange Business will put its most sensitive applications on its own private cloud, with others moving to Bleu. Bleu is undergoing SecNumCloud 2.3 qualification.
