Greenlight Networks has made another inorganic move. The Rochester-NY-based last mile operator has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Pennsylvania-based FastBridge Fiber.
FastBridge Fiber operates FTTx networks in both western New York and western and central Pennsylvania. More specifically, they have fiber in Buffalo, Williamsport, Danville, Bloomsburg, and Berks County, and are constructing more in Erie and Hazelton.
Those assets and customers will fit well into Greenlight’s footprint, which now stretches south into Maryland as well. Greenlight closed its acquisition of Loop Internet in Scranton last month, and with this deal they show a growing appetite for inorganic growth alongside their many organic projects. In June the company announced plans to invest as much as $100M into the Baltimore metro area.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal should close in early 2026.
