A couple data centers, some FTTx, a cloud collaboration, and a network upgrade:
Blueprint Data Centers is making a move out in the Austin TX metro area. They will be building out a 60MW facility in Taylor and a 25MW facility in Georgetown. If all goes well, the two locations will be energized next year. Blueprint was founded two years ago, but got a strategic investment from Northampton Capital Partners a few months ago.
Brightspeed says it has completed several fiber projects out in western Pennsylvania. They now reach some 21,000 homes and businesses in the towns of Butler, Hyndman, and Roaring Spring. The company has about 50K more endpoints targeted across the sate as it continues to build out its infrastructure in underserved areas around the state.
365 Data Centers has lined up a new strategic collaboration. They are working with Liberty Center One to expand their cloud capabilities. The arrangement combines 365DC’s footprint of 20 colo facilities with Liberty Center One’s enterprise cloud capabilities and hosted services.
And over in Europe, GNM is expanding its core network footprint with an equipment upgrade. They are deploying the Arista 7800R3 at its PoP in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. The key node in southeastern Europe enables connectivity from European networks down into Turkey, the Middle East, and the Caucasus region via two diverse routes via Serbia and via Romania.
