Two new data center campuses, some FTTx, and a new PoP:

Yondr Group is making a big move in the Dallas metro area. They have acquired 163 acres in Lancaster TX, upon which they plan to build a 550MW data center campus. Yondr hopes to break ground on the new campus in 2026. Yondr is expanding its footprint in North America, adding to its two data centers in northern Virginia and one in Toronto.

Applied Digital is preparing to break ground on its new project up in North Dakota. The Polaris Forge 2 campus will cost some $3B to build out entirely, supporting a 280MW AI factory. The new campus will be located on some 900 acres in Harwood ND, just northwest of Fargo, and follows Applied Digital’s buildout in Ellendale, 2 hours to the southwest.

Wyyerd’s expansion in the southwestern US has landed in a new market. The FTTx provider has launched services in Marana, Arizona. That’s along I-10 to the northwest of Tucson, on the way to Phoenix. Wyyerd has been expanding its presence in and around Tucson throughout 2025.

And Hurricane Electric has deployed a new point of presence in North America, or more specifically in Toronto, Canada. The new PoP is in the Coloware YTZ-1 data center, which is itself located at the iconic 151 Front Street carrier hotel. It is HE’s fifth PoP in Toronto and 20th in Canada overall.
