Three FTTx updates, from west to east.

Wyyerd Fiber is planning some further expansion out in southern California. The FTTx provider says it is now building out infrastructure in Bonita, California. That’s just southeast of San Diego and east of Chula Vista, markets Wyyerd has been in for the last few years now in addition to its main service areas in neighboring Arizona.

Brightspeed has been investing in greater depth in coastal and eastern Northern Carolina. They are now able to reach some 21,000 families and businesses in the towns of Morehead City, Beaufort, Newport, and Washington. The company plans to continue to extend that number to 38,000 over the next few years.

And in the UK, CityFibre has completed another fiber buildout, this time in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area. Their network now passes some 100K homes in the area, which sits just northwest of Birmingham. In addition to being ready for service for 90% of the population, CityFibre has also connected just under 300 public sector sites.
