Three interesting items worth noting at midweek:
LightRiver has added some muscle to its leadership team. Travis Ewert has been named Chief Operating Officer. Travis moves over from CenturyLink, which he joined with the Level 3 deal. He will be helping LightRiver scale its business further, especially in relation to the company’s netFLEX SDN solution.
Meanwhile, CenturyLink has itself a new CFO. Neel Dev will be taking over the role recently vacated by Sunit Patel who left for T-Mobile in September. Like his predecessor, Neel Dev came in from Level 3 and had already been doing the CFO job on an interim basis so nothing much will change in the short term.
In Manhattan, DataGryd has a new partner in NYI to help it take its presence in NYC’s 60 Hudson to market. NYI’s hybrid and managed capabilities combined with DataGryd’s infrastructure will cover a lot of ground for customers looking for flexibility and scalability from an alternative source.
And Teridion has launched a brand new enterprise-focused cloud-based WAN solution. Their solution integrates with Cisco Meraki, Citrix, and Silver Peak, runs over all the major cloud providers, and scales on demand. It also leverages curated routing, orchestrating the network based on real time performance.
