Tuesday Bytes: Everstream, ADVA, Eurofiber, Globalinx, HE, H5

Here are a few quick takes on some other recent news worth noting:

Everstream is beefing up its leadership team out in the Midwest. Rich Dugger has been promoted to Sales Director for the company’s healthcare vertical. After rolling up assets in and around Michigan over the last few years to go with its Ohio network, Everstream is moving to better address the enterprise opportunities within its expanded footprint.

ADVA has picked up a new convert for its FSP 150 solution. Eurofiber is deploying the gear to power its new business service offering in the Netherlands. Netways Europe helped with the deployment.  It’s a CPE solution that Eurofiber likes for its flexibility, zero-touch provisioning, and layer 3 features.

Down in Virginia Beach, Globalinx has picked out its network connectivity management solution. They have selected Wirewerks’s system to facilitate its colocation and interconnection services. Globalinx sits in close proximity to the MAREA and BRUSA cable landings, giving them a catbird seat on a rapidly evolving market.

And in an announcement that slipped past my nets last week, Hurricane Electric is moving in with H5 Data Centers down in New Mexico. The global backbone operator has added a PoP within H5’s Albuquerque’s facility at 505 Marquette Ave NW. It’s HE’s first foray into New Mexico, a state which tends to get bypassed more than it ought to when it comes to infrastructure.
