TGIF, here are a few other news items from this week that are worth a quick look:
CIM Group and fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty have teamed up to buy a data center out in Wyoming. The two have purchased 340 Progress Circle in Cheyenne, which 1547 helped build for Green House Data a few years ago. CIM and 1547 now own three such properties together, the other two being in Ontario and San Francisco.
3W Infra has added some additional interconnection options to its ecosystem. They have signed a cooperation agreement with the Asteroid Internet Exchange Point, connecting the company's 160Gbps global network to the IXP within the NIKHEF data center in the Amsterdam Science Park.
And Orange Business Services has a new security partner. They are collaborating with CERT NZ, a unit within the government of New Zealand that supports those affected by breaches in cybersecurity and was just formed last April. CERT NZ will be using Orange Cyberdefense to help with the sharing of threat intelligence, and in turn they'll be keeping Orange up to date on threats they encounter.
