Telx Expands Footprint at 60 Hudson By 71%

If the imminent invasion of European-style internet exchanges has Telx worried, they aren’t showing it. Today the interconnection specialist unveiled the addition of another 69,000 gross square feet at 60 Hudson, one of the internet’s biggest hubs.

Telx says they’ve been experiencing ‘tremendous growth’ in the NY/NJ metro area lately, and the expansion at NYC1 will help them meet the demand. The facility is closely linked with its siblings at 111 8th Ave, 32 Ave of the Americas, and of course the campus across the river in Clifton.

The wholesale data center provider DataGryd is working with Telx on the expansion, although terms were not disclosed.  The extra space gives Telx 620,000 square feet of space across 6 facilities in the NJ/NY metro area.
