Ramblings Jobs: OpenCape

Job listings have started to pick up again after a slow start to the summer season, which hopefully will be the story in the rest of the economy. This week we saw a new listing posted by OpenCape, the Massachussetts buildout bringing fiber and big bandwidth to Cape Cod.

OpenCape is looking for nothing less than a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and manage the company.  This follows a job listing several months ago for a Chief Operating Officer – clearly they are looking to build a management team.

We still have four other job listings active as well.  In the middle of the country, Unite Private Networks is looking for a Presales Engineer in Omaha or Kansas City, and a Network Engineer in Dallas where they have a big project underway.  Up in the Pacific Northwest, Fatbeam is looking for an OSP Engineer in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene  metro area – their home turf of course. And Lightower is still looking for more Account Executives in New Jersey, where the company has been aggressively expanding its footprint.
