ITC^Deltacom reported Q2 earnings last night, nothing like waiting until the last minute. Revenues were $125.5M, adjusted EBITDA was $21.8M. A reasonably strong quarter, I had expected that the economy might hurt them in parallel with PAETEC but it didn’t show up. Here’s what the company had to say about it:
“Although we, like others, have begun to see the impact of the economic slowdown in some of our markets, our financial results for the first half of the year were very strong,” said Randall E. Curran, ITC^DeltaCom’s Chief Executive Officer.
So, another ‘yes the economy sucks, but we are still doing fine’ vote. Not many people will take note of course, few if any analysts follow this company, which serves the southeastern USA. They have some fiber, but most of their revenue comes from leasing copper.
